Small arboreal and terrestrial Pit viper. Encountered under bushes and leaf litter or in bushes. Haemotoxic venom. Often confused with the Saw scaled Viper but has large plate scales on the head. Causes Renal failure
Often causes late onset envenoming, with symptoms taking many hours to present.
No effective anti venom
